Health & Safety Arrangements

The Health & Safety systems and practices at UK NSI are dedicated to maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. This incorporates but is not limited to the following:

  • Appointment and nomination of competent Health & Safety persons.
  • Health & Safety steering committee meetings.
  • Health & Safety risk and COSHH assessments.

  • Provisions for occupational health and health screening.
  • Employee safety reps meetings.
  • Accident and incident investigation and preventative actions.
  • Monthly analysis of incidents displayed on company notice boards.
  • Monitoring key Health & Safety issues.
  • Personal protective equipment.
  • Health & Safety induction training.
  • Health and Safety awareness training.
  • Manual handling training.
  • Internal training facilities to accommodate identified training needs.
  • Internal and external training programmes on relevant Health & Safety issues.
  • Trained safety and ergonomic risk assessors.
  • Trained manual handling instructors.
  • Trained fire marshals.
  • Trained first aiders.
  • A dedicated employee Health & Safety brief communicated Quarterly and displayed on company notice boards.
